Stage One – Caregiving with Confidence – Steps One, Two & Three

These skills and more are presented to you here, so that no matter what your level of expertise, you will be more able to provide services, and support people, with confidence.

There are three main stages of my Social Service Care Product roadmap, with three steps for each stage, and three action steps to enhance your service goals and minimize stress.

This one, Stage One, “Caregiving with Confidence” is the first. This course includes: Step One: “Getting to Your Why and Why Your Why Matters.” This is the foundation of providing services with confidence. It will help you provide services objectively while incorporating a “multi-view” of what it means to help and care, without feeling judged, misunderstood, undervalued or incompetent. It will help you gain an introspective value of core service principles; integrate your authentic self; avoid blind spots, and learn tools to begin every encounter with a clean slate. It includes two Videos, totaling 2 hours and 22 minutes, 31 pages of downloadable Workbook materials presented in videos, and additionally related written material in the dedicated portal, with the ability to take notes and print.

Step two of my roadmap is called “Critical Foundations” and with it you will enhance your ability to help others. You will learn the “X-factors of excellent service and will learn to engage and respond well to the people you serve, with clarity, and without “feeling stuck” or “reactive” due to feeling pressured to respond. It includes one video, totaling 1 hour and 26 minutes, 39 pages of downloadable Workbook materials presented in the video, and additionally related written material in the dedicated portal, with the ability to take notes and print.

Step three of my roadmap is called, “The Primers: Theoretical Essentials” and will provide you with the ability to problem solve, with options, based on a number of theoretical perspectives. It includes “critical knowledge,” essential skills and conditions for service, and provides an overview of fields of study to help you gain a lifetime of theoretical understanding, all in one place. It will help you feel more connected, grounded, better about the work you do, and, you’ll be able to participate more fully in your career, and life. It includes one video totaling 3 hours and 26 minutes, 74 pages of downloadable Workbook materials presented in the video, additional written material, and the ability to take notes and print them from the dedicated portal.

This section, Stage One, includes a total of 7 hours and 15 minutes of video instruction, and 144 pages of digital workbook materials. Additional written material has been included in the portal for Steps One, Two and Three. Bibliography and reference material are available here via download for future use, some of which have also been included in your downloadable Workbook as active links. You may take and print notes within the dedicated portal, 3 consults are included and Certificates are available at the completion of each Stage.
