Welcome to Stage Three of the roadmap where we are enhancing your service goals and minimizing stress. <\/p>\n
Stage Three: \u201cSupervision, Management, Self-Care and You,\u201d covers the last Stage and the last of the 1-9 Steps, found in the other modules, (or if you obtain the bundle, all three Stages). They are, Step Seven: \u201cSupervision and You,\u201d Step Eight: \u201cManagement and You\u201d and Step Nine: \u201cSelf-Care and You.\u201d Hefty, important and useful!<\/p>\n
In Step Seven: \u201cSupervision and You\u201d you will be provided with a step-by-step process, to make the most of supervision by learning about a variety of leadership styles and how to respond; learn how to prepare for supervision, and get the support you need. The information shared will assist you in meeting these goals, \u2013 without feeling insecure, or having anticipatory anxiety in 1:1 or group meetings, for which you will be better prepared. This step includes one video totaling 3 hours and 58 minutes, 89 pages of downloadable Workbook materials presented in videos, and a dedicated portal with the ability to take notes, and print them. <\/p>\n
Step Eight: \u201cManagement and You,\u201d provides a step-by-step process to develop and apply systemic collaboration, to meet individual and agency-wide goals using skill sets you have right now. It includes a self-assessment to determine where you stand with management, even if you are a manager, and active steps to align yourself with company values, for goal attainment, promotions and, the well being of all. The general topic for this step is systemic thinking, and with it, you will you gain an aerial view of needs, problems and solutions, with less frustration and without incident. It will also provide you with an understanding of what is going well and how to expand upon it. Step Eight includes Four videos, totaling 5 hours and 26 minutes, 126 pages of downloadable Workbook materials presented in videos, and a dedicated portal with the ability to take notes, and print them. <\/p>\n
Step Nine: \u201cSelf-Care and You,\u201d provides immediate and long-term solutions for self-care as a social service provider, a person in the helping profession, and will bring light to creative areas of interest, you may have neglected as a caregiver. The aim of this step is to improve your well-being, reduce burn-out, take active steps to spend more quality time with loved ones and doing the things that make you happier. The general topic for this step is completing a whole person check in, and it will help you identify, fill in gaps and gain support for your needs, without feeling guilty or less of a team member. This step includes five videos totaling 2 hours and 2 minutes, 95 pages of downloadable Workbook materials presented in videos (there are extra materials here for persons wishing to be more comprehensive about individual goals), a dedicated portal and the ability to take notes and print them.<\/p>\n
This section, Stage Three, includes a total of 11 hours and 27 minutes of video instruction, and 310 pages of digital Workbook materials. Bibliography and reference materials from Stage One through Stage Three are available via download for future use, some of which have also been included in your downloadable Workbook as active links. The goal is to learn supervisory leadership styles, how to navigate them, how to prepare for supervision, solve problems, and get support for your needs. The goal is to explore the role of management through “myth busters” to learn everything you wanted to know about management, (though may have been afraid to ask) with lived insider info., that will help you with your role goals and promotions.
\n***Step 9 – Self-Care and You! Easy Strategies for Whole Person- Self-Care <\/em>and Self-Care for the Caregiver\/Provider. This step explores how to work smarter not harder, practice self-care and learn how to set realistic boundaries. The goal is to receive principles that work immediately, to alter one of the greatest obstacles for service providers\/caregivers, and one that ultimately has the greatest impact: Self-care. <\/p>\n
